Social Interface Engineering

We coined the term “social interface engineering” to describe features that combine content management with the dynamic nature of user-generated content, whether on a consumer-facing website or your corporate intranet, to provide a more powerful and interactive way to filter and discuss content.

Activity feeds on social networking sites are a great example, but imagine similar functionality unifying corporate communications (in some cases replacing e-mail and IM), content creation workflows, department-wide or organization-wide alerts, to-do’s, customer support, etc. – all in a single, personalized, and filterable stream of activity. Social interface engineering is our vision for the future of these interactions. How the concept will materialize is unpredictable, but we continuously aim to design innovative solutions that make your employees more productive.
