Usability, Security, Reliability, and Performance Best Practices

Designing a website or application involves an integrated effort from all parts of the team – product developers, usability experts, data modelers, and the programmers to make sure that all pieces of the puzzle fit together perfectly and are able to expand seamlessly as the application continues to evolve over time. Our architects are experienced in a variety of programming languages to know which one(s) are best fit for each project. Convasis designs innovative solutions by pushing the boundaries of the technology that is available to us and involving high attention to detail during all stages of development – design, implementation, and testing.

Because our industry lacks many of the certification and inspection procedures present in other industries, Convasis maintains its own set of standards and best practices to ensure that our software is of the highest quality. Our teams are thoroughly trained to adhere to strict guidelines, while project managers and QA personnel audit the software regularly to ensure compliance. Guidelines can range from maintaining an appropriate coding style to accounting for the smallest aspects of the user interface that make a user’s experience more enjoyable and efficient.

Depending on the nature of the application or as required to by the client, Convasis also integrates third party requirements into its guidelines. Some of the most common standards include PCI Compliance for security and Section 508 for accessibility. We always recommend these options early in the process, whether or not our clients decide they are necessary.

All of our work is thoroughly tested in-house before deployment of any releases. Find out more about our QA procedures.
